First Post on my new blog!

Today I decided that I needed to start a new blog.  My art is taking a new direction.  I am beginning to explore many new techniques.  I didn't maintain my old blog very well.  Hopefully, I will learn to post on a regular basis with this one!!


I begin with my newest adventure:  Art Journals!!  I just completed a workshop online based on the book "The Decorated Page" by Gwen Diehn.  This is a wonderful book for beginning journalists!!   I haven't yet begun to journal daily..........but, I am collecting wonderful images and ideas for when that day comes.






I have also been revisiting art jewelry.  I have created several pieces lately that are very different from my "old" style.  Since money has been so tight, I am really into recycling.  It is amazing what you can do with things that you would ordinarily toss out!!

    Loved visiting your new blog. I have just finished a new book also. I just have to find the u-tube that showed me how it all goes together. I thought it would be easy to remember:( oh well touring u-tube will be fun that how I found it the first time.
